Like many people with low self-esteem, you probably have tried various methods to increase your self-esteem. Unfortunately, you also probably had trouble experiencing improvement. Or if there was an improvement, it was a temporary improvement. The task ahead is to learn effective ways to increase your self-esteem in a way that would result in a stable self-esteem that is resilient. In addition, you will be presented with a way to deal with sudden drops in self-esteem due to some trigger. Self-esteem therapy is counseling that focuses on teaching the necessary skills to improve your life.

But, couples can learn the skills they need with counseling to improve their romantic relationship. The intimate nature of romantic relationships tends to produce many intense feelings. These intense feelings can make controlling a person's thoughts, feelings, and behavior very difficult, particularly when stressed. However, many techniques can minimize the influence of intense emotions on a person's thoughts, feelings, and behavior. These techniques will be presented to couples to implement in their romantic relationship. Chief among the methods is learning to show love and respect. Many client's also have romantic insecurities which can be addressed by the counseling services provided and, in particular, with self-esteem therapy.

For some people, online telehealth counseling services take some getting used to. If you are concerned about video conferencing, I encourage you to give online services a chance. Many clients prefer online therapy due to the convenience and feeling more comfortable because they are at home. While different than in-person therapy, there isn't much difference. Also, consider setting up a free 15-minute consultation via video conferencing as an introduction to online therapy.
